yep i got it will review shortly, and the display viewing angle is not THAT BAD, as said in many reviews....
but front camera is bad....

I have a small problem, the display backlight is leaking through the plastic. what to do??? and tab gets hot(not too hot or not warm but medium on right side)

Hi kARTechnology , the "backlight leaking" is because of the cheap build quality.
If a replacement can solve it , then just do it.
Coz , if there are gaps like that , dust can get in so easily...!!
The OTG cable was in the box , and there was a screen guard with protective film in prefixed.

and I got my Lava Xtron last Saturday.
Display is awesome , build quality is superb. I have the heating problem as well , but it is not a big problem , right ?

a flip cover / back cover can be used for that heating problem.

The backlight is not leaking, did you see the photos I linked? But there are no gaps... The pre applied screen protector is crap
The accessories in the Box are
micro USB to USB cable
Changer with a travel adapter
The tablet
A Chinese to English translated manual


They have 7 day replacement warranty, will check everything and see it's ok or will go for replacement

But performance is in top notch for this tablet, real performance in this price range

And can anyone help me? Should I buy micro HDMI TO HDMI OR MINI HDMI TO HDMI?
And there are sooo many otg cables? And very cheap also, which one should I get?

Will try running XBMC on it, connecting USB wireless mouse keyboard combo

hello friend, i have checked me u2, it has free ram of 600mb... i doubt karbon has got this much free ram,...

+ gpu is not specified in the comparison link u provided.... i hope there must be one... otherwise no hd playback...

+ hcl is a more trusted brand you know.... offers better service and response i hope (i think).. and is more reliable than karbon, i think... actually i don't know nothing about karbonn products and after sales services...

but i'll check about this karbon tab too.. if it offers best value for money, then it would be final...

EDIT: could you please find me the benchmark scores , karbonn i have found but hcl not available on net i think...

@kARTechnology , you are right .. even Gogi's tab has back-light seeing through the case..
If you have no other issues . better keep it. Coz , sometimes it will take more than a month to get a replacement!
I thought it has gaps.

Karbonn has not so smooth touch ,normal display with low viewing angle, low internal memory , its battery takes a lot of time to charge, and cheap build quality.
You will find difficulty in buying covers for this tab.

then please give me better options... and if you talk about processor then i think hcl is offering dual core 1.2 ghz which i think is strong enough to perform almost all general operations...

so in the range of 5-7k, all of them would be having cheap build quality according to you then.... please suggest me what is better according to you...

because my need is only for hd videos + office docs and pdf reader + internet browsing and music... and this all i can get in a 5-6k tablet... there is no need to increase budget as i see...
I need 1 gb ram + >=1ghz processor + gpu ..,, and many tablets offer this config in 6k price range, so i don't think that a budget for>10k or samsung tab is required for these all ....
and i am ready to compromise with primary camera, because my needs don't require a camera, also i'll rarely use a secondary camera for video chat, so 0.3 MP is enough for it...
so i am looking a tablet around 6k.....
and the main problem is that there are just too many brands and models in this price range,... i don't know which one to go with you know....
