hello anirbandd,a friend of mine is also eager to buy a 20" LED monitor and he has a budget of around Rs 6500.While checking the prices of these monitors at a local hardware store,he was advised by the shopkeeper to avoid Dell and opt for Samsung as the former's 20" monitors are apparently of inferior quality. As you have just bought this new monitor,I'd be grateful if you could tell me whether you are satisfied with its image quality or not-do you think buying this monitor will be worthwhile?

this is a great monitor! bang for the buck.. great VFM. i am pretty satisfied with the image quality. but Color/brightness-contrast/gamma calibration is a must for proper image quality.

and DONT ever listen to the shopkeepers. they try to push products which have a greater profit/commission margin.

as for the topic of FullHD versus 900p.. i think this depends wholly on your GPU, considering your friend is a gamer. i went for 900p due to my GPU. at 1080p, the 7770 would have dismal performance. if your friend has 7870 or better card, tell hi to go for 1080p. if not, 900p will suffice.

on the other hand, if he is not a gamer, a movie buff/for other application, then any GPU will do for a 1080p. :)

awesome buy.. congo!!

going to add it in a few days its still under proces...lol

anyway m getting that sapphire 7950 vapour x oc anytime soon now...

Hmmmm everyone told me gs 600 would suffice....

7950 with that rig??

anyway, GS600 would be okay, but TX750 would be very safe. ;)
