Need help connecting a cabinet fan.

Hello everyone,
Firstly sorry if I am reposting but because everyone has different motherboards I am forced to do so.
Ok, now my PC specs are as follows...

CPU Q8300
Coolermaster 600w PSU
4GB DDR2 RAM
Motherboard INTEL DG41RQI

My CPU temperature is 80C on normal usage which I guess is very high so I'm planning to buy a cabinet fan and need help regarding that.

1. I am buying a thermal paste and replacing the old paste.
2. Planning to clean the heat sink manually and replace the paste.
3. Should I go for a branded cabinet fan like Coolermaster?
4. How do I know which fan will my motherboard support..?

If you guys need me to upload any pictures please let me know...

Thank you...

BMG ftw!!
1. Good idea, but getting a local cheapo thermal paste won't help your case at all.
2. Good idea.
3. Mention the model number of the cabinet you are presently using.
4. Check manufacturer company for complete specification.

OK, So I have ordered a coolermaster thermal paste and I measured the size of the fan slot on my cabinet which measured roughly around 8cm so I've ordered two fans 80mmx80mmx25,
one with a 3pin connector(CoolerMaster) and one(cheaper) with a molex connector(since I could find only one 3 pin connector on my motherboard).
Anything else that I can do to reduce the heat..?
Will these two fans and replacing thermal paste lower the temperature??(By how much approx.. Cuz now it runs normally at 80C).

Thank you...
