First of all room size please.

Then Go for either Daikin or Bluestar, best in class

One info:
Last year 3 Star rating products has Energy efficiency ratio of ~2.84
This year 2 Star rating products has Energy efficiency ratio of ~2.84

So this year 3 Star is more energy efficient and costly too

^^ I don't understand. If the Energy efficiency ratio for both (2 and 3 star product) is same, then why one would be costly then the other?

Is Voltas a bad company?

^^ I think Daikin won't fit into your budget for a 2 tonne one. If you can extend the budget and go for Daikin/o general.

Consult your local dealer. Different models have different features. So, list your features to the dealer to suggest a model from the brand.

any suggestion fr me, friends...

voltas model because it has compressor, condenser and pipelines all are made of pure copper unlike LG-samsung aluminum. Ask your dealer to provide hitachi or mitsbushi compressor in voltas.
