I really need help on this one...I'm an avid Tech-geek and a Digit reader..
in college..
Buying a new phone..(Confused)
[Budget 16K]
So shall i take an android
or
Shall i buy an itouch 4th Gen with a cheap qwerty phone like C3 or Samsung Ch@t
Requirements: Excellent touch, Super High res Display, Gaming, Music, Internet, Good camera, APPS!!!
I'm into android an iOs so plz no Symbian

Samsung Galaxy SL is somewhat out of his mentioned budget. Unless he buys it online, he won't get it for less than 20k.

However, he can get defy for around 18k. Defy has got a better build & appealing looks. Its slightly lighter, has better pixel density & superior resolution. Therefore, it assures crisper text, images & video.

@sizzlingsaumye : If you can extend your budget, go for Galaxy SL i 9003. However, Defy won't disappoint you.

Yea..What about the other choice of ipod touch with a phone?!?
Motorola Defy's good but i am not that confident with the Motorola Company otherwise!

Can't get to that much..Hw's Galaxy Ace as such.?
Heard the Display's not that great

iPod Touch 8GB is good but you will end up cursing for lack of memory expansion. if you want iPT, get 32Gb atleast. iPT 32Gig and Nokia C3 is a good combination. but that will cost you around 20k.

Ace = slow processor (clocked at 800Mhz, doesn't support flash) + not robust but will be updated to Gingerbread but less/no community support.

Defy = fast processor + very well built + Froyo (end of journey) + huge community.

There are people trying to port CyanogenMod 7 to Defy... I see its beta6 released a few days ago on XDA... So, if Defy owners are lucky, they will get the GB goodness in a few months... --- [DEV][ROM] CyanogenMod 7 (Android 2.3.4) - xda-developers

Hmm..i'm also into defy!!
will buy..hopefully it ain't that bad as other motorola brand phones in india(i had one long back sucked to the core)!!
