How should I compile .f files?

Hello Folks,

There has been no answer to my post till now. However, after lot googling I have some information to share with.

.f files are Fortran files. .f extension is for Fortran files in Unix environment for Fortran compiler. These can be, therefore, compiled by Unix Fortran compiler.

Kindly comment if my information is correct.

You can use gfortran. It is a part of GCC.
