Hii all,
I want to buy a laptop, though there are some posts like this already present in the forum, but they all had decided on some
model whereas i haven't decided on any model just the brands they are Sony, HP, Acer.
I want to buy a laptop mainly for gaming, watching movies listening to music and programing sometimes ;) .
I want the laptop to be futureproof ,i.e., it should be able to play games that would be released in about a year or two.
I can spend around Rs. 60,000 for it.
Or should i wait for sometime some good new releases in the near future.

Thank you.

Sorry in the title i wrote "aming" instead of "gaming"

Why have you excluded Dell. I was going to suggest Dell XPS + Complete Cover

The reason i excluded dell was that, i have read the forum only that Dell does not provides a good graphics solution when compared to equivalent Sony or HP. The Dell XPS 16 has HD 3670 a below graphics sol. i will not be able to do much with it and XPS 17 is way above my budget(72K is guess). And because though Dell has a very good service in big cities but when it comes to small cities there are problems as everytime some fault occurs they have to send the system to Banglore or Delhi.
Though i don't know much about acer(heard its laptops are not too robust) but have still included it as i have read they provide good VFM.

And please feel free to add any laptop that is good and would fit my requirements, the only requirement is that it should be avaliable easily because there are models from asus that aren't avaliable easily and MSI is the most difficult to find.

Thank you.

I am a total noob when it comes to Graphics cards. I could never keep track of which is what.

The websites of HP/Compaq, Acer, Lenovo does not list the prices on their website making comparison difficult. Only Dell is the brand for which details are available online.
Why don't you visit a outlet near you (like Croma, if you have)? They can compare the the products for you.

I too don't have much idea but know a bit. I already went to croma and other, the problem is they have some very specific models(mostly low range), and say that they can't get any specific one(these models are approved by some officer some where) so its a problem to compare them at croma and other stores. Sony and HP are giving mostly the same graphics card with different comb. of screen(Full HD etc.), poc. and HDD i want to know hich is best suited for me at this budget.
Please anyone help.
