Looks good. Wonder how much it will cost in India. Offtopic, someone mentioned the other day, that digital cameras are getting so compact/powerful/affordable that the companies might just about start adding GSM capabilities to it :D

Looks like it have capability of kicking itouch and zune hd's combined ass.

THIS.
Should be bigger to kill an iPod.

The rest, especially support for formats even iPod with rockbox can't support thanks to FFMPEG in Android, would truly kill iPods.

this is probably limitation of android os . Each and every android device have this resolution. May be this is done to maintain app compatibility.

I wont mind the resolution if that was an AMOLED. 3.5inch at that resolution is ok for me .

ipod can never be kiled. It's not the ipod that is keeping it alive. It's iTMS. Once you are in, you can never go out!!! Though for us, this could surely become a big hit.

Definitely my next purchase once I kill my Cowon D2 :)

I seriously doubt android has such a limitation.

And 3.5" may be enough for you but its still tiny compared to an iPod which means it will never really kill iPod.
Yeah.iPod is alive because of it's flaunt value.
BTW You can donate your D2 to me.
Wrong. Not flaunt value but the iTunes Music Store as Desibond. Music bought there is DRM protected and millions of americans and europians who bought music there can't play their audio on any other PMP but an iPod.

This obviously wouldn't affect Indians because a huge majority of us either don't BUY music at all, or buy albums in CDs but rarely do we buy DRM protected low quality online music.

i'm no android guru but i think i read somewhere about this limitation . I heard se is waiting for android 2.0 (donut , which is supposed to support higher resolution) for this reason .

Btw , ipod also have 3.5 inch screen so how creative is smaller ?

By enough i meant to say is the dpi of the screen is still fairly high to offer great picture. Of course more is better , but still there are other aspects that are more important than raw resolution number.

agreed.
also the ease of use is another factor that give ipod an edge.
