Yea, sound would be same or probably better in One X. Bargain a lot, best you can get in 32k with HTC India warranty.

Don't get me wrong but sAMSUNG is a fraud company. It released a less capable G version of the galaxy s 2 which is inferior to the original version. When I bought the original version I got the G version instead inside the box of original s2. Stay away from sAMSUNG-the apple copy cat.

S3 is Better. Beats Audio is a gimmick. My friend has a One V and I have used it quite a lot. The Sound Quality is NOT anything above average. It might sound better with Beats Headphones but those are hell expensive.
S3 has better cam, sound, performance and I think it will be more future proof.
And S3 will have better Dev support for sure.
I bought my S3 for Rs 36K while I was getting the One X for Rs 33K. And I think S3 was worth the extra Rs 3K.

The only thing which One X has in its favour is, it feels great in hand - it's really a pleasure holding it. Apart from that SGS3 is better in every department - whether it's microSD slot, camera, sound quality or battery life. Battery life on One X sucks quite frankly and if you prefer using stock ROM, then Sense UI isn't intuitive anymore. It just doesn't feel Android to me. I'm not a fan of TouchWiz either, but it still feels intuitive.

My friend has the GS3 and I must say it is amazing! The HTC one X has very bad battery life compared to the S3. If I had to make a choice then I'd choose the GS3 without skipping a beat. Also Samsung is close to rolling out Jellybean for S3

I have used both phones, and I own a Samsung Galaxy S3. The thing is, in terms of performance and pretty much everything else, S3>One X. But the price difference is high, ie. around 5-6k locally. So now it's your choice. Shell out 6k more for a better performer, or keep the mediocre One X, as it justifies it's own price tag.
