Zenfone 5 or Moto G

I got 2 Asus zenfone5's for my family members. Opened one box, there is no such issue with zenfone5's display as mentioned in video.
We got them in sbi card offer of 10% cash back. For 9k it was worth better than Moto g for me.
Flipkart had stocked 20k zenfone5 from 18th midnight around 00.15am & was available till 19th 9am. It seems as if they are holding up stocks of zenfone5 in order to clear up Moto g.

Any phone can handle that and someone here is right that you don't need 2GB RAM to run a phone dialer(call), message app(chat) and essential apps(Camera, FM Radio, Browser, File Manager...)

Everything comes down to design preference and after sales. At the moment though, Zenfone dedicated service centres are fewer than Motorola's, just so you should know.

both are safe options though
for that sorta usage,the zenfones camera and screen is totally worth it
both have great service as wel atleast wayy better than the chinese and indian oems like lava,micromax,xiaomi,karbonn etc

Moto will still get updates if G2 continues stock android
plus youll always have ROMs from cyanogenmod etc

I will not do custom ROM will. I mean to say official OTA updates for Moto G2 like G.

And besides,Lenovo will keep moto as it is, I can't find that link where I read it(can anyone find it) ?

yep the deal isnt over yet between google and lenovo
moto will operate separately from lenovo after the deal is finalized

ikr but i dont follow the glitter trail personally
a tried and tested product with great after sales is a better choice
ive seen alot of my friends who spent their own hard earned money and pocket money on such phones only to be disappointed
nokia ,moto ,apple and even samsung to an extent are safer buys and have proven their service in india
who wants 2 extra cores for the same price just to compromise on alot of other things

How is this new Redmi 1S?

frankly id stick to a proper established brand
the others will probably boo me but its a fact that all that glitters isnt gold
their after sales ,build etc isnt yet proper in india
people just see the cpu and get such products without seeing the full picture then come back crying about their bad experience
an example is Xolo and micromax,it was the rage in these very forums for atleast 6 months with people saying how much better it was than htc and samsung then it died down because the bubble burst
waiting for it to be established is a better idea,ive met two people in my college who bought the mi3 and couldnt get solutions
one of them sold his phone and got a moto g,the other still uses his galaxy s2 while waiting for his mi3 sim slot to get repaired for the 3rd time apparently
atm moto india is a safe bet given that they give full refunds ,replace devices and service pretty well,maybe not as good as nokia but at that price moto g is a better choice so its evened out

My dad using a LG CDMA Reliance phone from 8 years. Still working fine.

i don't have money to throw away or take a chance. if i had a lot of money to throw, then i would have bought htc one m8 / xperia z2 / iphone ...... i thought of buying zenphone and have experienced and heard a lot about quality and ASS of asus but then checked and found out that there is no service centre in my city so backed out.

both the LG cdema handsets were used like anything, kept anywhere and used extensively. second one was used very roughly so its charging socked misbehaved and i used to charge it with a jugaad. finally 3-4 months back, got a b229.

@10,000 Rs. you won't regret purchasing an Asus Zenfone 5. The only issue is battery problem which can be solved by upgrading to Kitkat. Also Powerbanks are available for as low as 500 rs.

moto and nokia offer the best ASS even samsung to an extent but i wouldnt recommend samsung imho
