Z5500 coaxial connection?

Hi,

I have Z5500 speakers. It provides two options for connectivity. SPDIF and Coaxial connection. I couldn't find SPDIF cables. Any idea if these are available in Chroma/Reliance Digital or any place in Vashi/K.K.

And I am not sure, whether my mobo supports coaxial. Can any one confirm this for me please. If yes, I'll use coaxial.

Mobo: GA-P67A-UD3R
Speakers: Z-5500

Thank you in advance for your help :)

S/PDIF is digital audio output which is of 2 types:coaxial & optical.if your mobo has S/PDIF output then it is either coaxial type or optical type.one of the plus point of z5500 is that it has both types of S/PDIF so as long as your mobo has S/PDIF output it doesn't matter whether it is coaxial or optical you can connect it to z5500.

edit:just checked gigabyte site & your mobo too has both coaxial S/PDIF & optical S/PDIF output so no worries.

BMG ftw!!
You can use either of them.
You can also find optical S/PDIF cable at any good electronics shop.
Coaxial cables are a bit harder to come by.

Ah, forgot to post. If shop owner don't understand optical S/PDIF cable, tell him that you want TOSLINK cable. They will understand. :p
