Yet Another Airtel Problem

I'm from Kolkata. I use Airtel Prepaid connection. I have some problem with airtel.


1) Few days ago My customer care was blocked. Whenever I'm calling 121 they are asking me to sms my query to 121 and they will reply to my query within 24 hours. But they never do. Have anyone faced such problem in WB or other states. Is there any solution to this problem.

2) Again HelloTunes was activated on my number. I didn't request for it. Now I neither can call customer care to deactivate it. How can you deactivate without calling 678.

Dial the following numbers from a LANDLINE phone:
9892012345 for postpaid connection
9892098920 for prepaid connection.
Yes the number 121 is blocked in all states and nobody seems to access it.

your cc service can be blocked if u call the cc many times.typically u have a limit of 30(i think) calls per month to the cc.if the limit goes beyond this u will certainly be blocked.

as far as the ht is concerned i have not got any idea.may some of your friends had activated the service.

To deactivate the hello tune u can send a message--
DHT to 700
Ur hello tune wud b deactivted in 24 hours.
As far as the customer care is concerned, we people use abusive language and they were helpless. so airtel has got this theory. They close ur customer care number of u call them against the limit. i dotn knw what is the limit but mine is also nt wrking. i m frm punjab.
None of my friend's cc is working.

thats cos the airtel a$$e$ r trying to cut costs by reducing the cc staff....
