yellow triangle on connecting to internet.

hey i get a yellow triangle on connecting to internet. in my taskbar. it comes 2 times when i use my opera 8.52 and now 9 browser. when i click on it , it dissapears. whats the prob?

and sometimes while working on full load, my monitor goes blank and cpu stops working suddenly. then i have to reset

earlier my system temp wetn to 50-52 degs. then i installed 2 fans one in front near pc speaker and other on mobo holding base in cabinet facing the right cabinet cover with 1 inch space. then temps came down to 44-46 degrees.

can the monitor blanking be due to it?

what's ur config and OS? I think the yellow triangle is for automatic updates

i have
windowsxp sp2 and all hotfixes with autopatcher december 2005

on a p3 933 mhz with 256 mbs ram and 810e mbobo and geforce4 mx 440 card

Can you post a screenshot of that yellow triangle? Also look under event viewer if you can find any system errors or warnings.

If it as an yellow triangle with an exclamation mark then it indicates that windows is increasing virtual memory. This happens when your virtual memory is set too low.

hover over the yellow triangle WITHOUT CLICKING It to find out what warning it is and let us know

Hmm... Yellow triangle comes there is an IP conflict on the network. I used to get it often when DataOne were messing their servers.

thanks guys but i think the yellow triangle is due to diabled autoupdate from safexp.

cause i have already assigned 500-700 mbs as pagefile

and this comes when iconnect to the net
