Yahoo! Messenger Autorun

Hello Guyz!

Well I'm posting in this Forum after a really long long time...

Anyways its good to be back. So straightaway to the point -

* I'm using Yahoo! Messenger 8 since a long time.
* The thing I want to know is that whenever I run Y! Msgr it creates an entry in the registry for Autorun next time.
* Even if I disable it, it again gets created the next time Y! Msgr is run.
* I get really irritated by Y! Msgr autorunning everytime my PC starts coz I have a PC with somewhat modest resources.
* So is there any method by which I can permanently disable the creation of the Autorun itself, or do I have to keep disabling it each time manually.

Did you check the general tab under the messenger preferences section?
Clear the checkbox which says "Automatically start yahoo messenger"

^^ Indeed.
If u'll not disable this option, Y! will automatically start at each system restart, even if u hv deleted the reg key.
