Which is a better phone to buy: the xolo q800 or q 700.. also sugeest some other good phones in same price range.

Q700 as it comes with 4.2 out of the box and Q800 has the same internals as Q700

not anymore, XOLO has released an update for Q700 this week (codenamed Q700i) allows you to install games in sd, partitions the internal memory by reserving 1GB FOR apps and 1.7GB music, pics etc.

I know but I have switched to Galaxy S now lol

yes but even the Q800 also has the same processor now as Xolo downgraded it
