XBox is gonna be released OFFICIALLY in India by Sujata Softech. Negotiations with Microsoft Game Studios have been on for quite some time now and it is confirmed that XBox consoles will be available at retail outlets across the country by the 3rd/4th week of October. No sepcific pricing details r available. It was said, however, that it will be priced 'competitively' (yeah yeah! )
Games published by Microsoft and Ubisoft will be part of the initial offering for Indian gamers opting for the XBox. Halo2 for the XBox will be available from Nov 9th 2004 onwards; it will be released by Sujata Softech as well.
When the Director of SS, Ms.Anjali Berlia was asked about the threat of piracy..she said "At Sujata we believe that piracy is not a threat to us but we are a threat to piracy, the reason being the high quality of our gaming products and our amazing pricing." No offense ma'am, but .
