Wireless Keyboard Mouse Problem?

Hi Guys!

I just brought a Logitech Combo of Wireless Keyboard Mouse and installed the same. The problem is that even if I switch off the Computer, the lazer in the mouse is on. This means that the mouse is always active and the same must be happening with the Keyboard also. Now, this would drain off the batteries very soon. Is there a way to switch off the Mouse and Keyboard when not in use.

Please dont say to take off the batteries as this would be the dumbest idea. BTW, how long will my battery last if my computer is on all 24 hrs.

wirelss keyboard+mouse cannot b turned off (other than the method u dismissed ))

when not in use their power consumption drops down drastically

BTW wat kinda batteries u go in there?

Its an AA(Pencil) Cell... As of now, I am using Duracell that came with the package. Will shift to rechargeable later...

if u usin the Mn-dioxide batteries, then u wint have to bother takin them out

it wud get discharged evn without use

d keyboard hardly consumes any power when not in use so u only have to remove the mouse batteries. There isnt any other option imo.
