WindowsXP shutdown problem

hai all,

this is my first post to the Digit Forums. i have a WindowsXP system with Intel 810e motherboard. from the last few days when i shutdown the system its restarting automatically instead of shutting down. i even tried with the shutdown command from command prompt but no change.

if any one knows how to solve this please tell me. i have never saw this type of problem in any system not even in my company.
