Hello..
i have some doubts regarding Win Xp.
1. Can I create bootable disk or floppy in Winxp? If yes, How?
2. How to restart Winxp in Dos mode? Is it possible?
3. Can I install and create partitions without using Win 98 start up disk? Like IF I dont have Win98 Start up, can I create, format partitions using Winxp Installation Cd?

Please answer these questions..

the answers are

1. yes you can create bootable floopies using windows xp, its the sam way as in windows 98. go to the a:\ drive in my computer then select format then select create bootable drive option

2. no in xp you cannnot boot directly to the dos mode as was possible with 98

3. yes you can create partions using xp startup cd. you will need to go into the recovery console (not automated recovery) and use diskpart utility or you can the utility directly while installing

Hey dude let me give u a valueable piece of advice.. (I think it is valuable) See to delete or format your partitions(if it is not the boot partition)

right Click on my computer
Move to manage
click on disk management ( It is 3rd ootion in storage very easy to find)
here you can do any thing what u wanna do..


Just think before doing anything as it is very userfriendly you wont be having any problem...
