Windows Problem ?

I have a dual boot , having vista and XP.
Yesterday, due to power failure , xp got corrupted.

I am looking for a way to reinstall xp, while saving vista.

I think i need to take the backup of MBR, but i don't know much.

Can anybody help ? So that i can reinstall xp and continue using vista also.

Simply reinstall XP and after that the new Vista loader will be gone and u'll not be able to start Vista.

But then boot using Vista DVD and select the recovery options and then repair the boot loader

it will be matter of seconds (of course depending on ur PC config)... I like this option of vista very much... fixes the boot loader with ease...
