Hi guys
I receive the following error message while booting XP Pro:
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
<Window root>\system32\hal.dll.
Please reinstall a copy of the above file."
I tried to repair using XP CD. But while copying files during repair it says few file like dvdplay.exe, fsvga.sys could not be copied; windows xp may not work properly.
Can you please help me to solve this problem?
