when i play any movie on windows media player and try to view it full scrn hen it comes back to its normal size again. but on another account on the same computer everything is fine. wat cld be the prob. dont tell to reinstall media player cause populating library again is quite a job!

version 10.x latest and yes win xp home.

Go to View menu and at the end see Video Size... There are two main options... "Fit Video to Player on Resize" should be selected... I think this should set it right...

as sakumar79 suggested,you have to click on "fit Video.....on Resize" to make MP play the content in its original...then u can make it full screen..

hey what u can do is that 1st uninstall the media player and then remove the related registries and then reinstall the media player
