Windows Media Center Activation

hi friends i just popped a question about the nero in a thread again i am back for some help from you guys/gals

the thing is that my yonger bro uses a pc <<rig>>
he got nuts and installed the media center edition of the XP

now after some time there is this activation error and the windows refuses to let him log

as i am away from home i cant help him and also frankly i dont know what to do !!!!


can any one of you suggest any novel way of logging into the pc and help us both in sorting out the problem ??

Question...

The Windows XP MCE which was installed, was it a legal Genuine Version??

if Yes then,

very simple... call the Microsoft India Toll Free numbers... they are very help full and they will going to help u to activate with phone... u may also reffer to Product Activation FAQ

if No

Cant be... as XP MCE only comes with pre install... there is no OEM pack for it... so there is no way u can get a OEM License... so it must be Pirated... better switch back to ur OEM XP (Home or pro) what ever u had... or may be if u r comfortable then stick with ur Linux.... (which is not a bad idea...)
