Hello, im using bittorrent for my torrent downloads. Yesterday, i found that in the logs, it displayed these two errors:
Windowsxp ICS service: cannot find working ics
windowsxp UnPnp status: device not found
What is the problem here?

ICS = Internet Connection Sharing
UPnP = Universal Plug and Play

If your torrents are working fine .. then forget about this error. It isnt making any difference. (as far as my knowledge goes)

My torrents as it is dont give me speeds above 5kbps, it has now hardly 2kbps. Also, my downloading from DAP is stuck forever on some particular file chunk.
@alibi,
can u give me tips on increasing my torrent d/l speeds, with dataone connection. I read somewhere it was something to do with port forwarding.

enable the windows reserve quota. by default it is disable & reserve 20% for windows. enable it and make it 0%.

@warrior ..
if you suggest something like this .. dont you think giving the exact procedure will help him. Or else your comment there will be completely worthless. aint it?
Yaar .. tell him how to do it !

@yrana ..
Anyways ... I dont think this tweak will make much of a difference. But you can try...
# go to start -> run -> type "gpedit.msc"
# go to computer config -> admin templates -> QoS packet scheduler
# dbl click "Limit reservable bandwidth" .. click 'enable' and select 0% (dont disable it)
# click ok

and .. yes .. I dont have any other trick for bittorrent .. mainly because I dont directly download using bittorrent .. I'm behind firewall.
ask drgrudge .. he must be able help you.
