Hey everyone. I have some very old files on my laptop. In the last few years I've had to reinstall Windows at least once a year, because it gradually becomes slow and unresponsive. Perhaps as a result of that, the ownership information of those files is inconsistent, with some having a long alphanumeric string as owner.
The problem is that Windows won't let me open the files or change ownership even though my account is the administrator.
Is there a way to change the ownership of all the files in a folder to administrators, given the default windows properties dialogue box isn't doing that?
