Windows Appearance

Hi,

Every time when I start windows XP the "windows and button" style changes to "win xp style" even though I set it to "win classic style" every time.

Can anyone tell why so??

I can't say why it is so, but I think I can solve the problem.

Make sure you're logged in with admin privilages.
Start>Run>services.msc

Look for a service named Themes and disable it by Right Click>Properties>Startup Type>Disabled.
