Windows 8 to Windows 7

Right off the assembly line
Currently am using a Samsung Series 5 laptop which has windows 8 pre installed. How do I remove 8 and install windows 7 in it?
I tried the setup but it showed some error. help!

DIY FTW!
> backup the c:\Windows\users\<username> folder (optional :p)

> get a Windows 7 installation disk.

> insert the disk in the laptop and boot to the optical drive.

> Format the partition on which Win 8 is installed.

> Install Win 7 in the formatted partition from above step.

Please elaborate that some error :twisted:

Best option would be to use Win 8. With Win 8, you have a original OS and with Win 7 I am guessing a *cough* version. :)

first try to use window 8 (its better than window 7 and also you have original one )

Anyway for installing window 7
1. first format C drive (if window 8 is installed in C drive)
2. install (custom) window 7 in C drive

before doing anything make sure you have all windows 7 drivers for your laptop model.HP don't even provide official win 7 drivers for their latest models whether they have pre-installed win 8 or not.i had to search by using device id codes to get win 7 drivers from a compatible series hp laptop.

What's the setup, that you're trying to install?
Maybe, it's because of compatibility in my opinion.
