Windows 8 64-Bit Crash Locale ID -2057.

Shift 2 Is patched to the latest version with legends and speedhunters pack.No issues now,but I have noticed that crashes occur only when the pc reboots with 2800 MHz Cpu Speed..and not at 2793Mhz.?? Unable to understand this anomaly. Plans of purchasing a new PC,but may hold on to this system for a month or two.Thanks for the help,everyone.Will post back again with a detailed error report if it occurs again within a month or two.

the game is crashing even when you are not using setfsb in windows ? well, if that's the case before launching any game set the power plan to High Performance profile.
