win xp sp2 in sept,2004 DVD

guys,does the win xp pro. sp2 provided in the sep'2004 DVD install only in a OEM or BOX pacakge of the same only or.....?

XP SP2 will install in all products which are leagal .

If you are running illegal copy of windows XP , then you wll not be able to install XP sp2.

Umm techincally Sp2 installs on illegal copies too... The thing is, it install on every cd key where sp1 could be installed.

And there are millions of illegal sp1 keys.

If u hv a legal copy (OEM or legally licensed version), SP2 will install without a hitch. But if u hv a pirated copy, u'll hv to accomplish th installation in a roundabout fashion
