win xp crash

every time i boot my computer, after some time of operation the comp suddenly hangs and a blue screen appears saying that if i am seeing this message for the first time i should reboot my comp or else i should check my computer hardware. it also says that it is beginning physical dump of memory. please advise abt. what can be done. thanx.

what us ee is called a BSOD ( Blue Screen Of Death )
dont freak tho
first of all see what error code it shows
psot it here
besides this boot into safe mode
see if u can first of all
if u do then just use the system restore function to restore ur comp to a previous point !

well if u have installed Boot Skin from stardock.com...then u get this error... just change the skin to default 1....
also some new Proggy installed may give this error.....so Run msconfig ..and check 4 all the progs that start w Xp..
