Re: Will gta iv run smoothly on Gigabyte AMD/ATI GV-R775OC-1GI 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card?(30-35 frame
Special feature of all Kepler Nvidia cards (6xx series) is that they have Txaa, which when used, gives image quality ALMOST, as good as MSAA.. but the performance hit will be significantly lower..
This feature is great especially for mid range cards like 650 ti and GTX 660, because MSAA will create a huge performance hit..
for your info
there are only 3 important types of antialiasing
MSAA (Multisample Antialiasing) <-- used in most games, best image quality, most performance hit
FSAA or SSAA (full-scene anti-aliasing) <-- used in some games, slightly lower (although unnoticeable) image quality, less hit
Txaa <-- only for kepler cards, lowest performance hit
So with all that said, I hope you find a good deal for a GTX 650 Ti, else a HD 7770 will have to do
AMD atm doesnt have anything to rival txaa, lets see what they do in the future..
