Hi friends,

I am using airtel fiber with 100 mbps speed. As i am running a PG in 2 floors, I need to give wifi connection to 25 people living on all 4 floors. Currently I am using 100mbps plan of airtel.

Please tell which is the cheapest and most reliable method to share the wifi. size of building per floor is 40 x 30 sq yards.

Nothing can beat the good old Ethernet. If you can manage to throw a LAN cable from the main router to different floors, you can attach a router to the end of it, that would be the most cost friendly and reliable method. Repeaters are just bad. Specially if you want to extend to 4 floors.
I had similar query. I ended up using Ethernet cables too: *geek.digit.in/community/threads/suggestion-on-a-switch-for-home-networking.212632/

Currently ACT fiber is giving its wifi connection of 150 mbps for rs.1100 per month including tax and is giving 2 mesh routers with it. Pls tell if they would be sufficient for my usage on 4 floors ?

It will be difficult as we will have to place the router in the centre of the floor and it will create a very cumbersome wire jam.

Can we use cctv wire by using 2 or 4 wires of cat6 wire for connecting to router else if I install tp link N300 or AC750 on all 4 floors, will it be sufficient

Last option I could find was using 3 pieces of Deco M4 or 2 pieces of X10 ?

Please suggest what is best upto 7000 budget.

While I can't give you a definitive input on your setup, just to comment, if you use only 4 wires out of 8 of CAT6 cable (which is Gigabit capable), then connection will be established but it will be capped at 100Mbps. So in future if you increase your speed of Internet from ISP, it will defeat the purpose as regardless of 200Mbps WAN e.g. from your ISP, your LAN will be only 100Mbps.
