Can you tell me which WiFi card are you using.

If it's Airport Extreme, then check these PDFs:
manuals.info.apple.com/en/AirPortExpressSetupGuide.pdf
manuals.info.apple.com/en/AirPortExtreme_802.11n_UserGuide.pdf

You can check it's FAQs at *www.apple.com/airport/faq/

If you're using some other card, checking out the links won't hurt. If you're lucky, you may be able to set it up!!

No its not this brand that you said above.. its some other brand.. i cannot recollect the name though...do these cards have a specific way of installing?? dont the drivers get automatically installed once it detects the device??

Remove the card and try to read the main chip number. Didn't they provide any cd with the card(ask ur uncle)? Was it came bundled with the original pc or installed later? atleast provide us with any of these information and we can help.also check the device manager first for any undetected hardware.
right click my computer->properties->hardware->device manager. Also run add new hardware wizard.
