Hello Guys!
I wish you all a Happy Dusshera :p . I am using Win XP (SP 2) as my OS. My computer is having Gigabyte Motherboard + Ge Force 2MX graphics card + Pinnacle TV Tuner Card + Logitech Image Studio webcam. In Windows Movie Maker 3.0 I can record videos by attaching my digital camera to the S-Video/Composite jackport of my graphics card. But, even though the WMM 3.0 detects and shows the webcam still in the preview pane nothing is dispalyed and hence I can't record any video through my webcam. The webcam is otherwise functioning on its own software. Please suggest how can I record video in WMM 3.0 by using the webcam.
Thank you.

1st of all there is no Windows movie maker 3.0, it's stil at 2.0

2nd, WMM cannot capture from webcam, for this U better capture an anvi file encoded with any apropraite codec by the webcam software provided or WebcamXP, then import the video in WMM & edit it

abhijitroy - You need VirtualDub and a free lossless codec like HuffyUV for capturing. Make sure you have heaps of hard disk space to capture. Later you can edit the same with VirtualDub and recompress to other formats. There are loads of guides on capturing at www.videohelp.com and www.doom9.net
