Which Movie player Supports HEVC/H.265 video in Android

I'm trying to play a F HD MKV movie encoded in x265 in my Asus Zenfone 5 as well as nexus 7 2012 but unable to play it smoothly.
MX player plays it very slow & audio pauses in between after 30 secs.

VLC is unable to show video properly but audio seems to be smooth sailing.

Media player classic in Windows plays it effortlessly.

I'm not sure if its an hardware issue or file issue or just android still unable to play HEVC/H265?

Any help would be appreciated.

HW should support HEVC
Also its possible to get HEVC HW decoding by flashing CM12.1 ROM

which version of MX Player u r using ? Pro ?

search for MX Player Neon AC3 + DTS in google u will get many links

Its just latest mx player & the x86 codec on zenfone 5 while nvidia codec pack on nexus 7
