You can get a regular internal HDD and add an external HDD casing (which will cost about 1000 Rs extra) for the most cost-effective backup solution... It will be cheaper than getting a specialised external HDD... However, External HDDs typically come with useful very-easy-to-use backup solutions that may make them the preferred choice for some people...
