Which Graphics Card Should I Buy??

I'm planning to buy a nvidia graphics card. My Budget is around 4-6K. Can anybody suggest me which one to buy. I'm thinking of getting nvidia 8600 GT 512mb. Pls guide...thanks.

btw ur choice is alright i guess. i would advice u to add some more bucks to ur budget and go for a 9 series midrange card...future proof to some extent

I upgraded my rig a few weeks back.
Due to budget constraints had to go for a similar thing. But i'll suggest you to go for a 256MB DDR3 than 512MB DDR2. Significant performance gain. I too had discussed about it here in this forum. In my city i only got XFX as per my needs. Where do u hail from?
