which antivirus software do you use

Norton internet security 2005 registered. Very happy with it. Keeps out virusus, spams, pop ups, and a good firewall. Plus good after sales.......just e-mail em and you usually get a reply with 2 working days.....

But loved AVG free too.

I have heard Avast has the best detection rate. But I guess I will switch over to AVG again.

Norton sucks. Eats up the memory like anything.

Hey guys...this is pretty old thread (2004). So you don't see the options AVG, avast!, KAV, etc. At that time NAV, Mcafee were popular and almost all were going for it. Now after 2 years things have changed dramatically in Antivirus sector. I don't see any point running this thread now!
