Recently I got to know that Opera's new version 8.01 build 7624 was released. I tried to find its download on www.opera.com but with no success. Then I reached *fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Opera_for_Windows_without_Java/945720329/1
but still the download link was not working. Then I tried to reach ftp://ftp.opera.com/pub/opera/win/801/en but the directory did not exist.
Then I reached *my.opera.com/forums and found out that Yes, as was mentioned in several of the 8.01RC1 related threads - the build has been pulled due to several bugs that were found and considered show-stoppers.
But still there is 8.01 build 7583 available for download at *snapshot.opera.com/windows/o801_7583.exe
