Where can you find old softwares?

download.com or any site... usually flush out all the old softwares and keep the latest ones.

I was wondering is there a site... where i can download the older version.
Not that ancient!!... but maybe say "software X" if the new version is "5.8"... i would love to get "5.7" (which was more stable for me)

This site provides only free softwares. But you will find all the old versions to the right.

Many software sites these days retain a slightly older version of the software too for download... If you can specify which software you want to get older version, we can help better...
