i see here in india the web hosting company
sells 10mb space for around 700 IRS but i know in some neighbouring countries and other parts its just around 7000 for same
so whats the real funda?
are these real web hoster ?
should be buy from them
whats the cheapest web hosting you have seen in india?
by the way do they mean that 700 is for registration and we need to pay it later
what s the funda

coming back to the point..

Many Indian companies generally charge lot more compared to Foreign companies....

reason? because many many indian people are not aware of the market rates and these paople take advantage of that...

many indian companies go for cheap data centers and provide hosting at high rates but at the same time few go for good datacenters like ThePlanet, Rackspace or Ev1 server

so before buying the server space you shall check following things..

you shall check how much other people are giving you at the same rate...

you shall also check for bandwidth limit per month also (those who say no bandwith limit i.e. unlimited then stay away from them)

see what featuers they are providing i.e. how many subdomains. emails, PHP MYSQL Support is present or not...

many times its cheaper cuz of diff space, email ids, php/mysql/etc abilites, windows or linux based server, bandwidth etc

they dont specify msot of this stuff and many ppl donno about that stuff so they dont even ask but it mite b very basic with no php support and stuff

so u g2 make sure u kno off all da features dey r givin (like Deep sed) b4 buying

da more expensive ones must b givin better features n services

also, many small-time companies start webhosting for cheap prices but their servers may remain down all da time wid no maintenance n stuff so b careful if ur buying

so they say there is 7000 so may be one can be atleast
thousandaire even by reseller method

i have not been able to distinguish
what do we mean when they say
linux hosting
win hsoting
do it mean that thier server will be in linux or win OS
what diff does it makes

you are right...

win hosting means servers hosted on win machine and linux on linux machine...

well about security wise...well again it depends upon the web hosting provider....

but generally people prefer linux server if coding is not on ant MS based app i.e. asp, asp.net
