Whats that lol.dll file?

Hey Guys. I found my friend's computer infected with a virus named "keylogger.trojan" which is very well detected by Norton Antivirus 2003 but is unable to remove it.It is also not possible to delete the lol.dll file manually as windows throws up "access denied or disk full/file in use" warnings.This wirus also starts msn messenger which is starting by itself after ending the process from Task Manager, it also is restricting to access the Symantec web as well as the Live Update on NAV. The OS is Windows XP Pro with SP1 installed on FAT32 partition. I found certain entries in the registry which started some services at startup disguised as from microsoft which I deleted. But in vain!!!
