Nvidia vs AMD

what's best for gaming Nvidia 740M/840M 2GB DDR3 or Amd 8850m DDR5 2GB ??
According to notebooknetcheck AMD 8850M is even better than 750m. How's that possible as in most games 750m performs better.

I wanted to know this to compare two laptops Lenovo z510/z50 FHD vs Dell inspiron 15r. Both i7 versions. SO WHO'S THE KING IN THESE GUYS.
(P. S DON'T INCLUDE LENOVO Y510P, I KNOW IT'S BEST BUT IT'S TAD HEAVY AND I NEED PORTABILITY IN 15 INCHER)

So z510/Z50 FHD cuz I have heard bad reviews about z50's screen although it's FHD. Even the z510 has problems like sharp edges and non removable battery.

Have you seen the z50. How is it in comparison with the z510??

Z50 has a ulv processor i think but Z510(i5) has M processor. Mostly little performance benefits.

Also if u compare the i7 editions , Z510 has a quadcore cpu

For GPU : Both 740m and 840m are equally good in performance

I own a Z510 but never experienced the Z50

Few of them are :

Little heating on bedlike surface(i dont use cooling pad)
Trackpad hangs a bit sometimes
Display angles are bad

I own a Z510 but never experienced the Z50

840m is based on maxwell architecture so it's definitely much better than 740m
Core i7 u is quad core too through hyperthreading.

Notebook check. Net reviews say z50 says z50 has really bad display and viewing angles. Hp has good looks and beats audio, Dell has Backlit keyboard. Dunno what to buy @60k.
