This is system memory that is simulated by the hard drive. When all the RAM is being used (for example if there are many programs open at the same time) the computer will swap data to the hard drive and back to give the impression that there is slightly more memory.
you can find more here
*www.google.co.in/search?q=define:v...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

to increase your Virtual memory
right click my computer
go to advanced tab click settings
again go to advanced
check out virtual memory ..
increase your page file size there to 1.5 times your RAM ..
you can set up as large as you want ...but 1.5 to 3 times the size of RAM is what you should opt for.

Garbage

God of Mistakes...
It is pretty similar to swap partition in Linux!
Whenever ur RAM becomes overloaded, it swaps data from RAM to virtual memory & after RAM becomes free, it reallocate it by data from virtual memory.
