because any information which is on the server in newyork or soo.. can be downloaded within a second to our computer ..

It depends on the distance bet the servers! The medium can be wireline,wireless,optical etc. So if the server A (delhi) communicates with server B(NY) the data can traverse through Ur pc to serverA to Statellite to Server B. U can calculate the distance urself keeping the height of the satellites (above the earth) in mind.!
