its nice card reader but actually for mobile small size cards. (Read Mini and Micro SD cards directly without any adapter)
this card reader not for. Smart media, Compact Flash, etc big size memory cards.

what kind of speeds you getting?
if you use Win xp, then use software called Tera Copy for a speed boost.
In Win 7, dont use 3rd party software.
Interface : USB 2.0
Smart Media card speed test.
Write speed : 1.61 MB/Sec
Read Speed : 6.21 MB/Sec
speed test using USBDeview v1.75 software.
i am using win xp.
