wats this physical dumping of memory ?i encountered the prblm durin operatin winXP SP2........
why it occurs ?
is it dangerous?

So u experienced a blue screen of death.It basically happens to prevent damage to ur hardware so actually it is preventing dangerous concequences.
U can troubleshoot the *.dmp file to know whats causing the BSOD.
My brother did it on vista and found that ntsokernl.exe was the cause.
