Want to use reliance FWP on laptop

Hi Frnds i want to use reliance FWP internet on my laptop.i have model LG 340E of reliance.i want to ask whether i need to purchase a serial to usb cable connector or try to find out another for my given expansion port 2 of my laptop model v2000 compaq.
please suggest whether serial to usb connect will work properly on this reliance model.Thanks in advance

nobody answered here.now i purchased a adapter for usb to serial but its not working with my LG340 model of reliance what should i do now.please confirm me can i able to use this model with above adapter or it will only work on serial port as their documentation said.I m little bit confused.please give reply here.thanks
