Want to buy SSD for PC

I am looking forward to buy a Solid State Drive - SSD from my pc which has configuration as

Intel i5-2400 | Intel H67BL | MSI R6670 | Cooler master 500w | Sony DVD R/W | Corsair 4G.B. DDR3 1333Mhz | WD Cavair Green 1T.B. | Windows 8 x64 pro | Logitech Wireless K260 | HP W1907 |

I am thinking of buying 250 g.b. solid state drive but all drive i found are 2.5 inch and i don't whether 2.5 inch drive will run on my pc as they are meant for laptop.

so please tell me whether a 2.5 inch ssd will work on desktop and if yes please suggest me few.

Budget is not a problem.

by far i have come through one ssd - Samsung 840 Series 250 GB SSD Internal Hard Drive (MZ-7TD250BW)

all ssd are 2.5" only.good branded cabinets now-a-days come with 2.5" ssd bays but for older/generic cabinets there are 2.5" to 3.5" enclosure/bay adapters available.
