Right off the assembly line
hi

i have a windowsxp system with sp2 insatlled....Whenever i try to install
.NET,i get the following error::


Error 1402.Could not open key: UNKNOWN\Msm.Merge.1\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

Please help me with this problem since i have serious deadlines to meet on my project which is to be in .NET

Thanks a lot dude..

I checked it on the microsoft site but just cudn find the rite link...A lot of new profiles got created everytime i repaired xp..don know y?????

Have U all Right to install ?

Have U check Ur Login That ur Super user? or admin

Copy all cds in one commen folder it ask for replace some file allow it to replace then install
